Criticism is a long-standing science that has been used for many years in various fields. Throughout history, criticism in any field has always led to the development of that field. Philosophy of art is the essence of art, which expresses the main identity of each field of art. Architecture also expresses its main concept through its philosophy. To understand and critique an architectural work, one must understand its philosophy. One way of criticizing architecture is to use methods of criticizing the philosophy of art. Philosophy of art is one of the sciences that philosophers have been trying to define for years. In the critique of art philosophy, there are two psychological perspectives that take their philosophy from the creator or the artist and the contextual perspective that the work of art inherits its essence and essence from its context and environment. . Today, Iranian architecture suffers from anonymity, one of the reasons for which is the lack of theoretical foundations for its critique, which has caused every architect to pursue his own style and tendency, without being aware of its mistakes and shortcomings. With the right critique of architecture and the architect can take a step towards resolving the crisis of anonymity. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the feasibility of using both psychological and contextual perspectives in architecture. The present study, with the help of the library method, has examined the existing sources in this field and has reached the hypothetical results by analyzing the obtained materials. The results indicate that architecture accepts the critique of philosophy of art. The most important step in this process is to recognize the architectural work in order to determine the point of view of the critique.
